SF & Points North Ultra Cruise

Welcome to the San Francisco & Points North Ultra Cruise, a self supported off-road bike challenge from San Francisco to Point Reyes and back again. This is not an organized or sanctioned event. We only offer a suggested route that is open to cyclists at any time. You are on your own.

The Rules:

• Ride under your own power, by yourself along the entire SF&PNUC route.

• You must be completely self-supported. Carry what you need from the start—you may not stop at any business along the way for re-supply with the exception of using water spigots located outdoors.

• Don’t break the law.

The Route:

The route is approximately 145 miles with 21,000’ of climbing through the Marin Headlands, Mt. Tam. Water Shed, Point Reyes and back again. Most of the riding is off-road with a few paved connectors.

The route crosses over itself several times, so to reduce confusion, I’ve broken it up into two parts, out and back.
